I met Andrea in the water while I was surfing with another coach one morning. When I mentioned I wanted to surf Guiones, he introduced us and recommended her very highly.
Andrea brings an incredible amount of knowledge, skill, and passion to her surf coaching.
The morning we went out conditions were not great at the main break, so she used her knowledge of the local beaches to take us to a break not that well known but where conditions were much better.
Our lesson continued building on the knowledge needed to understand tides, winds, topography, and surf reports. Our in-water session was the best day I had surfing in Costa Rica.
I would recommend her without reservation to anyone looking to learn or take their surfing skills to the next level while in Costa Rica.
